Hero Bear - free cross stitch pattern
I originally created this pattern for people to stitch during the covid pandemic of 2020, to honour the heroes in many fields who worked so hard to care for us all. Many people are still affected by covid, and will be for a long time, so I am continuing to give this pattern as a gift.
This is a small pattern which would be easy to stitch up for a card for a key worker, or to hang in a five inch hoop as shown in the image.
Colour and black & white versions of the pattern are included, along with beginners' cross stitch instructions which show you how to stitch the pattern.
• Stitch count: 33 wide x 48 high
• Approximate size on 14 count aida: 2.4in wide x 3.4in high (6.0cm wide x 8.7cm high)
• 12 colours, DMC numbers given
• Uses full cross stitches and backstitch; no fractional stitches
• Stitch on fabric of your colour choice (image is shown on white fabric)
• Suitable for all skill levels including beginner
